Shujaat to visit India in April

LAHORE, Feb 1: PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said on Sunday that he would visit India with a parliamentary delegation in April this year. He was talking to newsmen before leaving for his home town Gujrat where he would celebrate Eidul Azha.

Chaudhry Shujaat said that opposition parties' parliamentarians would also be included in the delegation so that political parties' contacts could be strengthened between India and Pakistan.

To a question, he said the trade and agricultural cooperation could bring prosperity and development for the people of both the countries. Meanwhile, Chaudhry Shujaat has congratulated the people of Pakistan on Eidul Azha.

In his message, the PML-Q chief said: "with the spirit of sacrifice, we can get resolved many problems." He called upon the people to follow Sunnat-i-Ibrahimi in its true letter and spirit. "We should pledge to render every sacrifice for the nation, country and the religion.

"It was our duty to include poor, destitute and suppressed class in the pleasures of Eid." He urged the people to pray for the prosperity, national unity, provincial harmony and for the eradication of price hike, hatred and unemployment.

Chaudhry Shujaat has also called upon all the politicians, ulema and others to shun all differences, showing a great spirit of sacrifice and demonstrate for unity and oneness. He said the non-Muslims should also be included in the Eid's happiness.-APP
