PESHAWAR: Five killed in accident

PESHAWAR, Jan 28: Five people, including the driver of a pick-up, were killed and six injured in a head on collision between a truck and the pick-up on the main Dera Tank Road on Wednesday.

According to a dispatch of a correspondent from Wana, the ill-fated pick-up No.4718 left Dera Ismail Khan for South Waziristan Agency collided with truck No.1171 coming from opposite direction near Tank.

The dead included driver Sadiq and four passengers while six received serious injuries. The accident was so severe that pick-up broke into pieces. The names of the dead and injured could not be ascertained as they were rushed to various hospitals.-APP
