KARACHI, Jan 1: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has asked MQM workers and supporters to get themselves registered in the voters' list.

Speaking from London via telephone to public meetings in Karachi and Hyderabad on Thursday, he said the registration process had begun in the province and the voters should ensure the entry of their names and those of their family members in the lists.

Mr Hussain reminded the party supporters that the non-registration of voters proved a big setback at the time of election. He also expressed satisfaction over the resolution of the Legal Framework Order dispute.

Recalling that the current century was a century of information technology, Altaf Hussain urged the youths to equip themselves with education that was not acquired through cheating.

Greeting the party supporters on New Year, he urged them to resolve that they would not repeat the mistakes of the past years and show an exemplary discipline in their ranks in the future.
