Bara-Torkham Road opened

PESHAWAR, Aug 30: The political administration of Khyber agency has opened the vehicular traffic and restored electricity supply to Bara and surrounding villages for a few hours, an official handout said.

It said the political administration was approached by the local people to restore the electricity and open the road as the residents had been facing hardship for several days.

The authorities opened the Bara-Torkham Road unconditionally at 7pm on Friday. The authorities said the Zakha Khel tribesmen vacated their bunkers atop hills around Bara and came down.—Bureau Report
