ISLAMABAD: Saudi govt refunds Rs1.3m of deceased Hajis

ISLAMABAD, May 11: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that Saudi government has provided an amount of Rs1.3 million on account of refund of transportation charges of those who expired in Saudi Arabia during 1997 to 2001.

Legal heirs of such Hajis are advised to submit their claims to Muhammad Khalid Nazir, Accounts Officer (haj), Ministry of Religious Affairs, Islamabad.

The claim must be submitted along with Succession Certificate and other supporting documents.

Refund amount pertains to deceased Hajis for haj 1997 to 2001 only. No other claims will be entertained.—APP
