25 fresh dengue cases

LAHORE, Nov 12: Twenty-five cases of dengue cases were reported in the city on Wednesday, according to an official of the Health Department.

The total number of dengue patients reported this year has reached over 800. Of them, 754 patients have been recovered, while 87 are under treatment in different hospitals. Thirty-nine are under treatment in Mayo Hospital, 25 in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, 12 in Jinnah Hospital and 11 in Services Hospital. Besides, no casualty related to dengue has been reported in the city so far.

Meanwhile, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Chief Executive Prof Dr Abdul Majeed has constituted a three-member committee to probe into the complaints regarding doctors’ mistreatment of patients in the hospital especially in the gynaecology ward.
