FAISALABAD, May 10: Haji Muhammad Shafique, Secretary South Asian Handball Federation and Pakistan Handball Federation has announced thirteen players will attend a camp to be held in third week of May this along River Chenab near Chiniot.

Among these, six players have been picked from WAPDA and six from Pakistan Army. The remaining player belongs to University of Agriculture Faisalabad.

S.M. Abid Qadri, president South Asian Handball Federation, vice president Pakistan Handball Federation and President Punjab Handball Association has been nominated as camp Commandant while Lt. Colonel Shujjat Ali and Khalid Rasheed will act as coaches.

The team will participate in Asian Beach Hand Ball Championship to be played at Kuwait from June 10-15.

The players picked for the camp are:

Tahir Ali, Naseer Ahmed, Muhammad Nadeem, Muhammad Zubair, Muhammad Tariq Tariq Iqbal (WAPDA); Muhammad Sohaib (UAF); Abid Hussain, Hayat Ullah, Qurban Ali, Irfan Zafar, Muhammad Fayyaz, Izhar-ul-Haq (Pakistan Army).
