ISLAMABAD, Oct 9: President Asif Ali Zardari was briefed on Thursday about the nuclear programme and the missile defence system.
The briefing was given during the president’s visit to the strategic plans division in Rawalpindi, which is the secretariat of the National Command Authority.
The briefing was also attended by the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC), Gen Tariq Majid.On arrival at the Joint Staff Headquarters, the president was received by the JCSC chairman.
President Zardari discussed matters pertaining to the armed forces with Gen Majid.
