LAHORE, Oct 24: Fine bowling by off-spinner Arshad Khan and left-arm spinner Mohammad Zahid helped ABL score their second  win in the Patron’s Trophy Grade-I tournament, when they  thrashed Sui Gas by an innings and 12 runs at LCCA Ground Wednesday.

Sui Gas, who had conceded a 187-run lead on the first innings, were bowled out for 175 after resuming their second  innings at 113 for five.

Arshad Khan claimed  four wickets this morning to finish with five for 65, including the scalp of Kamran Sajid, who was last out for a superb 88.

Kamran hit 10 fours and one six during his 202-ball innings that lasted just over four hours. Mohammad Hussain, the other overnight batsman, scored 33 with  two fours and one six. The sixth-wicket put on 51 runs in 47 minutes.

Arshad also sent back Abdul Rauf (7) and Kashif Shafi (4) while Mohammad Zahid took the wicket of  Raza  Khan  (12) to end with five for 69 and match haul of nine for 153.
