ISLAMABAD, Sept 2: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the last date for filing of annual withholding tax statement till Sept 5 to facilitate taxpayers.
An official announcement issued here on Tuesday said that the extension was made in the filing of withholding tax statement without any penal action. The last date for filing of statement was Aug 31.
The decision was taken on the request of the tax bar association and taxpayers on account of their pre-occupation with e-filing of sales tax return.
All withholding tax agents are requested to ensure filing of their annual withholding tax statements by the extended date, added the announcement.
