KARACHI, May 7: A huge housing complex of Gulshan-i-Iqbal’s Block 13-D/3 (Savana City), having more than 600 apartments, have been deprived of water for the last two months.

“For two months the residents have been paying huge amount to the building’s union for arranging water through private tankers as there is no water in the building’s pipeline,” a perturbed woman of the Savana City told Dawn.

ORANGI: A population of over 100,000 residing in different localities of Orangi’s Sector 11 1/2 has also been without water for a fortnight.
