KARACHI, Aug 27: Nishat Mills posted a net profit of Rs6.132 billion during the financial year ended June 30, 2008 and declared a 25 per cent final cash dividend.

According to financial result of the company announced here on Wednesday, the profit before tax stood at Rs6.390 billion while earning per share stood at Rs38.38 during the period under review.

Adamjee: Adamjee Insurance posted after tax profit of Rs2.90 billion for the first half ended June 30, 2008 and declared a 15 per cent interim cash dividend.

According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange on Wednesday, the gross profit was estimated at Rs2.998 billion. The earning per share stood at Rs29.33 during the period under review.—APP
