HYDERABAD, May 6: In the on-going crackdown against criminals the Hyderabad region police have arrested seven accused involved in different crimes, six criminals, two proclaimed offenders and one army deserter during the last 48 hours and also recovered arms and ammunitions from their possession.

According to details, the Badin district police have arrested two criminals and recovered two pistols and 11 cartridges from their possession while the Mirpurkhas police have seized one motorcycle valued at Rs40,000 under section 550 CrPC (suspected stolen property) and arrested one criminal from whose possession one pistol one cartridge were recovered.

The Hyderabad district police have arrested one proclaimed offender and one army deserter while the Thatta police have arrested one absconder and two criminals and recovered two pistols and five cartridges from their possession.

The Sanghar police have arrested one criminal and recovered one pistol and five live round from his possession.
