KARACHI, May 6: An emergent meeting of commerce professors held in Government Degree College, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, on Monday expressed its concern over the shortage of commerce teachers and substandard and controversial syllabus.
The meeting also opposed the teaching of 15 subjects in BCom. A committee, to be headed by Prof Aslam Khan, was formed to address these problems. A general body meeting of the commerce teachers has been called at 10am on May 12 in the National College, says a press release.
