KARACHI, Aug 1: Three ships carrying containers and crude oil were accommodated berths on Thursday, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, four more ships to load/offload containers, cement and palm oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Eleven ships, Hammurabi, CMA CGM Kingston, Rosa-M, Abbud-G, QSM Dubai, Leopard-B, AI-Farabi, Shrike, Star Dream, Cerigo and AL-Salam-1I, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, phosphoric acid, coke, palm oil, crude oil and diesel oil.

A cargo volume of 86,734 tons comprising 65,371 tons of import and 21,363 tons of export tonnage was handled.

AL-Salam-lI, Star Dream, Rosa-M and Hammurabi ailed out while CMA CGM Kingston and Abbud-G were expected to depart.
