NEW DELHI, May 4: Indian and US special forces will carry out joint exercises code named “Exercise Balance Iroquois” in Agra beginning from the second week of May.
First in the series of joint exercises would involve the India army, elite para-commando units, and special forces from US specific command, according to an army spokesman here today.
The exercises will be backed by transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force and the United States Air Force. The exercises will coincide with Indo-US mountain manoeuvres currently going on in Alaska in the US, he said.—APP
