Kenya recall Aga for Euro tour

NAIROBI, July 12: Former captain Ragheb Aga was included in Kenya’s 16-man squad on Friday for the two-month tour of Europe which includes playing in the World Twenty20 qualifiers, officials said.

The all-rounder, who captained Kenya in 2004 following a strike by the senior players, became a British citizen earlier this year and signed a contract to play with Sussex in the English county championship. Former wicket-keeper/batsman Kennedy Otieno was also recalled for the tour which starts with an invitational Twenty20 match against club side Rochdale in northern England on July 20.—AFP
