KARACHI, July 1: The revenue department of the water board has issued a seven-day final notice to Site Ltd on the directives of the managing director of the KWSB, Suleman Chandio, for default in payment of outstanding dues.
In case of failure in the payment of dues, water connection of Site Ltd will be severed after seven days.
According to a water board spokesman, around Rs67.50 million have been outstanding against Site Ltd since January 2008.
He made it clear that the KWSB supplied water to Site Ltd, which it subsequently supplied to other industrial units and also recovered water tax from them.—APP
