SAHIWAL, June 20: Three children of a family died in 136 /9-L when the mud wall of their house fell on them during a rainstorm on Friday.

The three children of Muhammad Ramzan took cover behind the mud wall of their house during the heavy rainstorm, when it caved in burying the children under the debris. Dawn learnt their mother was throwing the rainwater out of the house and had asked her children to stay by the wall. When the wall fell, villagers came to rescue the trapped children but no child was found alive.

Loadshedding: Unscheduled loadshedding ranging from eight to 10 hours a day in the city areas while 12 to 14 hours in villages has created problems for people.
