LAHORE, June 4: The 22nd World Wide Bridge will be contested simultaneously by bridge players the world over on June 6 and 7.

The event is being hosted in Lahore by the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club, with competitions commencing in its Dome Hall at 5.00pm each day.

The Punjab Bridge Association is the overseeing coordinator and as per the rules, all bridge players are eligible to participate in the event regardless of their being members of the club or not.

The competition’s special feature is that the same hands are played the world over at almost the same time, thus comparing the bridge players at the club level, country level, zone-wise and world-wise.

The hand booklets will be distributed before the start of each session. Every hand played is subject to analysis and comments by Eric Kokish.

The top 10 players of the world will receive special prizes from the World Bridge Federation.
