MUMBAI, May 16: Hours before a crucial IPL match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, the Shiv Sena on Friday renewed its attack on cricket players from Pakistan in one of the teams. “They (Pakistanis) are the enemies of the entire nation and we have been opposing their playing here for many years now,” Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray told reporters.

Over decades, Sena has been opposing Pakistani teams and has indulged in digging cricket pitches at venues before the match due to which Mumbai has not hosted a single match between India and Pakistan for several years.—PPI
