LAHORE, May 16: Former federal secretary Humayun Farshori was appointed as Punjab Public Service Commission member by the provincial government on Friday.

The former BS-22 DMG officer was appointed for a period of three years.

Meanwhile, Local Government Department’s Director Finance Syed Nasir Ahmad Tahir was transferred and posted as Forests Department deputy secretary.

Labour Department Deputy Secretary Ahmad Amjad Ali was transferred and asked to report to the P&D.

Sheikhupura TMO Muhammad Afzal Shaheen was transferred and posted as Sheikhupura DO (coordination).

Anti-corruption Establishment’s Director Technical Ghulam Abbas was asked to report to the Communication and Works Department.

Punjab DPI Colleges Muhammad Ashraf Naz was transferred and directed to report to the Education Department. Additional charge of the post was given to Additional DPI Zulfikar Ali.
