LAHORE, May 13: The All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) has decided to raise the issues of price-hike, power and flour shortage and unemployment as well by mobilising the masses.

Hafiz Salman Butt, Lahore chapter convener of the alliance, told a press conference here on Tuesday that a rally would be taken out from the Punjab Assembly up to the Lahore Press Club on May 25.

Regretting the delay in judges' reinstatement, he said under the garb of this issue the PPP had put the problems like price-hike, unemployment and power and flour crisis on the back burner.

"We still want immediate restoration of the deposed judges but could not allow the rulers to ignore the vital public issues."

Calling for the impeachment of President Musharraf, Butt said his stay in power would be damaging for the democratic and political system. —Staff Reporter
