HYDERABAD, May 12: The Institute of Sindhology in collaboration with German consulate, Karachi, is organizing a seminar on “Cultural relations between Sindh and Germany: past and present” on May 24.

A meeting on Monday discussed arrangements of the seminar and names of speakers who will present papers on different aspects of relations between Sindh and Germany with special reference to research, literature and culture.

Participants of the meeting said that the seminar would promote literary, cultural and historical relations between Sindh and Germany.

Shoukat Hussain Shoro, Director, Institute of Sindhology, informed the meeting Dr G.A. Allana, Dr Abdul Jabbar Junejo, Dr Hidayat Akhund, Professor Mukhtiar Kazi, Professor Aijaz Qureshi and Wali Ram Walabh will be among the speakers.

The seminar will be presided over by Vice Chancellor of the university, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui and Consul General of Germany Hans Jaochim Kiderlen will be chief guest.
