KARACHI: Eight SPs transferred

KARACHI, May 12: Eight superintendents of police were transferred and posted in different capacities, most of them as town SPs, on Monday night.

A spokesman for the Sindh Home Minister said that SP Gadap Mir Hussain Lahri was transferred and posted as Additional DIG Investigation. SPs Syed Asif Ali Shah, Naveed Ahmed Nisar, Allauddin Abbasi, Pervez Khan Umrani, Irshad Ahmed Sher and Muhammad Ashfaq Alam Khan, who were awaiting postings, were posted as the principal of traffic and training institute, SP North Nazimabad, SP Gulberg, SP Landhi, SP Gadap and SP Muhafiz Force, respectively. SP Muhafiz Force Sohail Zafar Chattha was transferred and posted as SP Gulshan, as SP Noman Siddiqui proceeded on a training course.
