ISLAMABAD, May 8: Civil Aviation Authority would acquire International Standards of Integrated Management System for its facilities across the country, an official statement said on Wednesday.
Under a phased programme, CAA intends to certify all its airports and locations against these standards including ISO-9001: 2000 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001: 2004 (Environmental Management System), and OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) standards.
This policy is in line with the philosophy of creating passenger friendly environment at the airports and provisioning of customer oriented services of highest quality.
The statement was issued on the conclusion of a two days training programme of International Standards of Integrated Management System at Islamabad International Airport. —Staff Reporter
