PESHAWAR, March 29: The NWFP governor has summoned the provincial assembly session on Monday, at 10. am at the newly built hall of the assembly on Khyber Road, to announce the election schedule of the office of the chief minister.

According to the sources, intending candidates for the slot will file their nomination papers before 1.00 pm on Monday, while the ascertainment will take place on Tuesday.Insiders told Dawn that the ANP’s nominated chief minister Amir Haider Hoti would be elected unopposed, as no one has expressed his desire to contest against him.

“The speaker may announce the result on the same day and the would-be chief minister may take oath of his office on the same evening”, the sources said.
