KARACHI, March 29: Four more ships carrying containers, crude oil, chemicals and wheat arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Eight ships, New Delhi Express, Maersk Novazzano, Tiran Island, Pontonikis, African Zebra, Word Majesty, Al-Debaran and Jiano, were busy in loading/offloading containers, cement, wheat, palm oil, furnace oil and coke.

A cargo volume of 105,000 tons comprising 80,000 tons of import and 25,000 tons of export tonnage was handled.

New Delhi Express sailed out while Maersk Novazzano and Word Majesty were expected to depart.
