KARACHI, March 29: Six ships carrying containers and to load molasses and ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where nine ships, Team Al-Emirates, Lucky Arrow to load cement, Bogasari Lima to unload coal, King Brian Hyundai Sprinter and Tower Bridge to offload and load containers, Swat, Champion Pleasure and Bengal Orchid, tankers were accommodated berths.

Many vessels under the lead of Eric G. Gibson, Cape Negro, Kota Mesra, Breeze, Handy Tankers Spirit, D.D. Hamburg, Jbu Orient and Pacific Express sailed out on Saturday, while Stange Attracore-1, Lucky Arrow, Hyundai Sprinter, Tower Bridge, Bengal Orchid, King Brian, Orient Saori, Swat, Eastern Star and Champion Pleasure are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total tonnage of 0.152m tons comprising 47,078 tons of export cargo including 6,668 tons of cement and 4,597 tons of rice and 0.105m tons of import tonnage was handled on Saturday.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Vemacape with oil, Arabian Wind to load 12,500 tons of ethanol, Rainbow to load 10,000 tons of molasses, Johar with 65,000 tons of crude oil, Cosco Karachi and Itha Bhum with containers.
