KARACHI, March 24: Three ships with containers, palm oil and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, four more ships carrying coke, furnace oil and containers also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy was maintained at 70 per cent at the wharves where seven vessels, Denisse, Gemini, Nord Vision, Artaki, Grigoroussa, Qem Star and Anna, were busy in loading and unloading containers, edible oil, wheat, furnace oil, chemicals and coal.

A cargo volume of 84,079 tons comprising 80,395 tons of import and 3,684 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Denisse, Grigoroussa, Qem Star and Anna sailed out.
