KARACHI, March 20: A dozen ships carrying wheat, tallow and to load clinkers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Lalazar, Dacbo Frontier, Liquid Success, Omega King, tankers, Harmony and Hyundai Stride and Maritime Valour to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of six.
The departing vessels were led by Cap Colrodo, APL Amman, Pilion, Emerald Park, Vema Cape and Kosmos, while Red Sea Spirit, Liquid Success, Hyundai Stride, Lady Tramp, Daebo Frontier, Western Master, Lalazar and Odigitria are due to sail out on Friday.
Cargo handling activity at the wharves was again maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 145,649 tons comprising 25,649 tons of export cargo and 120,000 tons of import tonnage was handled.
The following ships are due on Friday: Orient Saori with 26,930 tons of wheat, Moyra with chemicals, Handy Tankers Spirit to load molasses, Lalazar with crude oil, Chemstar Duke with tallow, St. Irene, Pac Antilia, Kota Gunawan, Y.M. Inventive, Wan Hai-303 with containers, Eastern Star with phosphate and Noor-i-Madina, to load clinkers.
