ISLAMABAD, March 13: If problems of the business community are not addressed by CDA and other stakeholders, complete shutter down call will be observed to take a strict action against these organizations.

President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Muhammad Ijaz Abbasi while addressing the representatives of various trade organizations of Islamabad said chamber is working for the welfare of the business community and encouraged them to become the members of the Chamber.

He said that the main purpose of the chamber is to facilitate its members and provide facilitation to the business community to resolve their business related problems.

He said that rent control act and housing project were essential for the trading community adding that there must be 10 percent quota in the housing projects initiated by CDA.

He asked for high rise buildings for the traders in the markets, so that their housing problems could be solved.

ICCI President said that efforts shall be made for the representation of ICCI in the CDA Board as the business community has a lot of problems concerning CDA.

He said that the trading community should come forward and intimate the chamber about its problems so that these could be taken up with the organizations concerned for resolution.—APP
