The bodies had been brought from Karachi in ambulances under heavy security and the funeral prayers, led by Maulvi Abdul Rahim Qazi, were attended by hundreds of people.

The bodies, wrapped in PPP flags, were lowered into the graves and a boundary wall was erected around them.

Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, former district nazim of Larkana, and Riaz Phulpoto, the estate manager of the late Benazir Bhutto, made arrangements for the burial under the supervision of the Naudero House.
