KARACHI: Election material

KARACHI, Feb 20: After the completion of the electoral process, the election material used on polling day has been temporarily dumped in district camp offices and will shortly be shifted to the election commission office.

Sources said that the results of the Feb 18 general elections for the seats of Karachi would be officially announced in a day or two and after that the election material including ballot papers, ballot boxes, stationery, bags containing ballot papers and other material which were currently stored in the camp offices of the five districts of the city would be transferred to the provincial election commission in the next five to six days.

The election material at the camp office of the district South housed in the City Courts was sorted out in the courts of returning officers and additional district and sessions judges, South, while the camp offices of West, East, Central and Malir districts were set up in the Site TMO office, Federal Urdu University (Gulshan Campus), Government Comprehensive Boys School, North Nazimabad, and District Courts Malir respectively.—A Reporter
