KARACHI: Rules for LLB students

KARACHI, Feb 20: The examinations department of Karachi University has announced the rules for the promotion of LLB students to the next higher class.

This was stated by a spokesman for the university on Wednesday.

He said that under the approved rules, if a candidate fails on account of short aggregates but clears all the subjects with the minimum required marks, he or she will be eligible to be promoted to the next higher class.

However, the candidate will have to appear in one or two papers in order to acquire the required aggregate for passing such examinations, he added.

Meanwhile, the department of Mass Communication in the University of Karachi is being shifted to the Dr Feroze Ahmed Institute located on the campus.

This was stated by the chairman of the department, Prof Dr Mahmood Ghaznavi, on Wednesday.—APP
