KARACHI, April 12: Governor Sindh Mohammedmian Soomro inaugurated Pakistan’s first online educational portal, ‘Free Hyperlearning Web Portal,’ launched by WISDOM Educational Society here on Friday.

Underlining the importance of high quality education, the governor said at the launching ceremony that it stimulated lifelong learning and achievement that delivered both competence and confidence to face the workplace in the new millennium.

He expressed his pleasure that since 1994, WISDOM Educational Society had developed and promoted academic excellence through its sponsored programmes at the Washington International School and become a leading provider of educational services and professional faculty training in Pakistan.

He appreciated the work done by the Society which has launched “Free Hyperlearning” and CIT (Communication Information Technology), AI(Artificial Intelligence) and the Internet in both learning and assessment.

The governor said that although the portal services were currently available in English language, he looked was forward to the speedy development of Urdu, Sindhi and other regional languages in the field as well.

He expressed the hope that the incorporation and integration of curricular objectives and assessments would provide an easy and convenient way to pass to all the stages of learning and skill development.—PPI
