Salman Humair shines with 25 points

KARACHI, Feb 2: Salman Humair scored 25 points as DA Public School defeated Meritorious Network School 85-20 in the sixth Inter School/ Collegiate basketball championship match at the AKU Gymnasium on Friday.

Danish Lakhani contributed with 15 points for the winners.

In other matches, Lecol’e School For Advanced Studies overcame British International School 50-47.

Kumail Ahmed, Hammad Haseeb (14 points each) and Zeeshan Ali (10) shone for the winners. Asad Ali produced an excellent show with 23 but failed to save his side from losing.

The City School PAF chapter beat Fatimyah College 66-33.

Raja Jehanzaib (15), Maaz Sultan (14) and Hammad Zafar (12) stole the limelight.

Yousuf Raza scored 20 points for Fatimyah College.

Karachi Grammar School won their match 43-23 against College of Business Management.

Sheharyar Malik led the way with 20 points. Hasan Anwar scored 24 for the losers.—Agencies
