Matricide at Wagah

LAHORE, Jan 30: Rangers on Wednesday arrested a deranged man, the killer of his mother, at Wagah while trying to cross the border.

Police said Sheraz Butt, who had slain his mother in Ichhra on Tuesday and escaped after the incident, was caught by the Rangers with blood spots on his clothes on Wednesday.

During initial interrogation by the Rangers, the police said Sheraz had confessed to the murder of his mother. Later, the Rangers informed the Ichhra police which reached the border and arrested him. — Correspondent
