KARACHI, Dec 20: Expressing its concern over the appointment of Col (Retd) Muzaffar Zaidi as director (administration) of the University of Karachi, the Karachi University Teachers Association (KUTS) has urged the vice-chancellor to withdraw the order and follow the relevant rules and regulations in the process of recruitment.
In its recent meeting chaired by Prof Aqeel Ahmed, the association expressed its strong reservations over hiring of ex-servicemen for the university’s key posts in violation of the relevant rules.—Staff Reporter
