Edhi Centre robbed

KARACHI, April 1: Bandits robbed an Edhi Centre in Nazimabad on Monday.

Three armed men barged into the Edhi Centre situated near Gujjar Nullah in Nazimabad in the limits of Gulbahar police, and robbed the volunteers present there of cash and valuables.

An FIR had been lodged at the area police station, an Edhi spokesman said.

Last month, unidentified men robbed two Edhi Centres at Star Gate and Clifton at gunpoint the same day. The bandits got away with a big amount.

ROBBERIES: Mohammed Naveed lodged an FIR at Gulshan-i-Iqbal police station that three armed men barged into his home, held the family hostage at gunpoint and looted valuables.

Rafiq lodged an FIR at Baloch Colony police station that two armed men entered his home and robbed him of valuables while the family was not at home. Mohammed Awam lodged an FIR at Mochko police station that armed men robbed him of cash in Mowach goth.
