BADIN, April 1: The district Naib Nazim, Mirza Sohail Akbar, convened a meeting of the district council on Monday to discuss matters regarding the differences between the district Nazim, Kamal Khan Chang, and the district coordination officer, Mohsin Qureshi, which were seriously impeding the working of the district government.

The agenda of the meeting was personally delivered to each and every member of the council.

Meanwhile, the Awam Dost Panel Nazims planned to hold a protest demonstration against the DCO after the meeting of the district council.

The dispute between the district Nazim and the DCO started over a delay in the distribution of funds regarding development schemes.

The union council councillors wanted early allocation while the DCO wanted the procedural release of funds.

The district Nazim was not available to comment over the issue as he was supposed to be visiting the provincial capital to get the DCO transferred.
