Three of a family die in accident

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Dec 12: Three members of a family, including a four-year-old child, were killed and five others suffered serious injuries when an oil tanker hit their vehicle near Javed village of Kandiaro taluka on the National Highway on Wednesday.

Soomar Solangi, 45, Qadan Khan Solangi, 38, and the child died on the spot while Reshman, Ghulam Mustafa, Zaheer Solangi, Irshad Khatoon and Mehnaz were seriously injured. They were moved to Kandiaro taluka hospital.

The family was on their way to Dadu to visit the shrine of Saidi Mossani when the tanker hit their Suzuki Carry. The injured were later shifted to NMCH Nawabshah due to their critical condition.

The driver of the tanker driver managed to escape while police impounded the tanker and arrested its owner Abdul Rasheed of Lakki Marwat.
