JACOBABAD, Dec 12: Two brothers were shot dead on the premises of a court here on Wednesday.

Police said people of two groups, who had come to the Civil Court to attend the hearing of a case ,exchanged hot words.

In the meantime, Dur Mohammad Channa opened fire on Ramzan Lashari, killing him on the spot. Dur Mohammad tried to flee but brother of the slain man, Mohammad Panah, followed him. Both went outside the premises where Dur Mohammad opened fire on Panah, seriously wounding him. The police arrested the accused with his gun.

Panah was rushed to the Civil Hospital and then to a Larkana hospital where he died.

Another brother of the two deceased has lodged an FIR against three accused Dur Mohammad, Manthar and Nisar. Channa with the Civil Lines Police.
