LAHORE, Dec 9: Pakistan Army with 216 points won the first National Junior cycling championship on Sunday.
Miran Buksh, contributing 48 points, played a key role for the soldiers to win the inaugural edition. In all, he claimed six gold, a silver and a bronze medal each. Husnain Ali (Wapda), however, was declared as the fastest cyclist.
On the last day, Miran Buksh won another gold medal, winning the 35km road race, clocking 44 minutes 36.75 seconds, followed by Sajjad (Sindh) and Wazir (Railways).
