MURREE, Dec 8: PPP provincial assembly candidate Raja Shafqat Abbasi Advocate on Saturday accused Town nazim Murree Sardar Saleem Khan of using the TMA resources on the election campaign of his younger brother Sardar Sajid Khan.

Addressing a press conference Mr Shafqat said he, in this regard, had lodged a cmplaint with the Election Commission.

He said the town nazim, belonging to PML-Q was using staff and other resources of the TMA in the election campaign of his younger brother.

Shafqat Abbasi said that he would never use such obnoxious language against any one which is being used by town nazim and his brother against him. He said that as he had introduced decency in politics, people of all the political parties were participating in his election campaign.

Besides the TMA workers being used in election campaign, projects were being announced to influence the will of the and it was sheer violation of elections code of conduct, Mr Shafqat added. He said that efforts of rigging the election would be made unsuccessful by the PPP with the help of the people.

Replying to a question, Mr Shafqat said that the PPP stood for independence of judiciary. He said that people of Murree had been rejecting the politics of money in the past and they would reject such kind of politics in future as well. He said that the poor could not be bought.

Replying to a question, he said that case of fake degree of his opponent was in the court and it was expected that the case would be decided on Monday.

On this occasion veteran politician of PPP and senior lawyer of Supreme Court and former general secretary High Court Bar Association Moharram Ali Abbasi, Nazir Abbasi Advocate president Murree Bar Association and PPP Murree, Sarfraz Khan Satti, Mazhar Abbasi and others were also present.
