KARACHI: Dawn staffer grieved

KARACHI, Dec 6: Abdul Hameed Nizamani, elder brother of Dawn reporter Hassan Mansoor, died of cardiac arrest here on Thursday afternoon. He was 57.

Mr Nizamani had the fatal heart attack while working in his real estate office in Lyari. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

He leaves behind a widow, four sons and two daughters. The funeral prayers were held at Yousafi Mosque on Mir Mohammad Baloch Road in the evening and later, he was laid to rest at the Mewashah graveyard.

The soyem will be held on Sunday between Asr and Maghrib prayers for ladies at his house, Al-Mahmood Manzil, near the Lyari Telephone Exchange, D.D. Chaudhry Road, Baghdadi, while for men at Madina Masjid, near Masoomeen Hospital, Moosa Lane.
