KARACHI: Policeman shot dead

KARACHI, Nov 28: A policeman was killed and his associate wounded by bandits in Orangi Town late Tuesday night. Police said constables Mohammad Khalid, 40, and Mohammad Arif, 36, were patrolling in the Mominabad police limits when area people informed them that some bandits were on a looting spree close to a graveyard. The constables rushed to the cited area, but they were fired upon by the bandits.

Constable Mohammad Khalid suffered fatal gunshots while his associate Mohamamd Arif suffered wounds.
