VEHARI, Nov 22: Lawyers and journalists continued their protest against curbs on media, imposition of emergency and the police action on journalists in Karachi and Faisalabad.
In their separate meetings in Vehari and other cities in Punjab, they condemned the police brutality against the peaceful protesting journalists and termed it a barbaric act of the desperate regime.
They said their struggle would continue till the restoration of democracy, end of curbs on media and independence of judiciary.
