MIRPURKHAS, Nov 16: The additional and session judge Mirpurkhas-I dismissed an application seeking police remand for interrogation from an accused, Nangar Khan Nizamani, here on Thursday.

About two weeks ago, special investigation police team arrested the proclaimed offender of Mannu Bheel case, Nangar Khan Nizamani, in a raid in district Sanghar.Investigation officer Abid Kaimkhani presented him before the court of civil judge and judicial magistrate Digri, Nadeem Badar Qazi, along with an interim challan.

The court had sent him on judicial remand.

The investigation officer and other officers could not interrogate him for finding clues of the missing family members of Mannu Bheel.

A few days ago, the investigation officer submitted an application in the court of additional and session judge Mirpurkhas-I, seeking 14-day police remand of Nangar Khan Nizamani.

The court heard the arguments of the investigation officer, counsel of the accused and deputy district public prosecutor. The judge dismissed the plea of police for remand.
