MITHI, Nov 14: Two young men injured in firing on October 30 disassociated themselves from the case registered by Kaloi Police against Sindh Chief Minister and others.

The two of Meghwar community and residents of Kaloi, disassociated themselves from the case booked on the complaint of Abdul Aziz on November 2, under section 324, 147, 148, 504 PPC against Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim and nine others.

Sohail Meghwar and Shewan Meghwar, injured in a firing had reportedly stated in their statements recorded under 161 and 164 before the district police officer Tharparkar and Judicial Magistrate Diplo on Tuesday that being injured due to firing, they remained admitted in a Hyderabad hospital and were unaware of case registered by Abdul Aziz Lund at Kaloi Police station against Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim and others.

They further said in their statements that they were injured in a incidental firing in a scuffle, however, Abdul Aziz Lund and other People’s Party Parliamentarians activists, as a drama, lodged FIR against Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, his elder brother Arbab Abdul Khaliq (Nazim union council Kaloi) and nine others.
